Human blood is packed with circulating biomarkers. Liquid biopsy takes advantage of this, using a simple blood draw to gain knowledge about a patient, from predisposition to cancer to whether a traumatic brain injury has occurred. Because several diseases are associated with increased biomarkers, it is paramount that analysis of samples reflects concentrations of these analytes at draw time. This leaves research laboratories with two options: Analyze the samples immediately or use a stabilization tube to maintain draw-time analyte concentrations.
While stabilization tubes allow for long-term room temperature storage, it can be difficult to know which is the right one for your needs. How do you know when you’ve found “the one?”
In this webinar, Dr. Nicholas George, Senior R&D Manager at Streck, will walk you through Streck’s stabilization portfolio to help you find your perfect stabilization match.
